We’re thrilled to share that the 2024 edition of our annual Next Step Breakfast Campaign has not only been one of our most inspiring — but it is also getting close to meeting our goal of raising $300,000 in contributions and pledge commitments. With your help, we can achieve that in the next couple of weeks!
More than 300 guests packed the National Press Club on April 6th to hear exactly how Next Step coaching and casework and component STRIVE employment training and placement transforms the lives of everyone involved.
“We all have a gift. We all have a purpose. Each one of us is needed, because we were made for connection, we were made for interdependence,” said Isaiah J. L. Poole in his testimonial, reflecting on what he’s learned from volunteering as a tutor at our Congress Heights location. “We were made to be God’s gift to each other.”
If you have already contributed to the campaign, we appreciate it! However, if you haven’t had the chance yet, please make a contribution at this link so that we can meet our goal!
As our Executive Director, Rev. David B. Wolf said, “We can do this only with generous giving that exceeds a simple one-off charitable contribution — your sustained giving is a game-changer for Next Step participants.”
