MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

How does Samaritan Ministy channel the love, skills, and resources of its volunteers, staff and donors into an empowering second chance for returning citizens and other struggling DMV residents seeking to channel their own talents into turning their lives around?

Come to the Next Step Breakfast to learn how we acheive this mutually transformative alchemy with hundreds of local residents in need each year — and how you can be a part of it!

You’ll hear dynamic testimonials from Sam Tanner, a Samaritan Next Step program graduate, and Isaiah J. L. Poole, a dedicated volunteer, about how their involvement has changed their lives in unexpected and wonderful ways. Laura Barrón-López, White House Correspondent for PBS NewsHour and CNN political analyst, will be the event emcee.

Finally, you’ll have a chance to meet other like-minded people who care about their neightbors and want to work together to make the region a kinder place!
