It feels great to welcome back participants. We’re still not back to “normal” – whatever that is – but we have participants back indoors with us in a limited capacity, and as you’ll see later, they are glad to be back, too! We are also seeing more new people who are interested in learning about the Next Step Program as they begin exploring how they want their lives to be in a post-pandemic community.
It is our shared ministry that is making all of this possible. The impact is in the lives of participants like Eyerusalem Belachew, who recently completed her certification in infant and child daycare with the assistance of Kathy Staudt in our Silver Spring location; or Jackie W., who has reached several goals working with Jane Bishop in our Arlington location, including enrollment in our Digital Literacy Training (DLT) program. To all those in the Samaritan Ministry community contributing to this shared ministry with your time, talent and treasure, thank you for being there with us on the journey.
