Building on the success of last year’s virtual Next Step Breakfast, at which we raised more than $200,000, this year’s breakfast will be a Saturday morning virtual brunch, emceed by Yamiche Alcindor of the PBS NewsHour.
We will be using the Remo platform for this event that will allow partners and guests to mingle and gather at tables—as if we are together in person! Remo also provides us with an opportunity to expand our reach and attendance beyond the limits of a physical space, and regardless of where guests are spending their time (in other words, think big!).
The staff and volunteers at Samaritan are proud of the way we have been able to operate during the Covid-19 pandemic, working with participants in person and virtually to continue the critical effort of empowering and sustaining success among our neighbors in need in the Washington area. We invite you to come and share in our pride in the year behind us and our excitement for the year ahead.
