Great thanks to ALL our donors who made 2019 so impactful. On the financial side, our individual donors once again led the way giving at a level unsurpassed in our history that allows us so sustain, expand and improve our programmatic impact! That number, nearly $600,000, includes revenue from our highly successful Nov. 2019 Gala at Duke Ellington School for the Arts.
In 2019, SMGW served 1,072 individuals, including participants in our HIV/AIDS outreach and our STRIVE Job Readiness training. In addition, 879 Next Step program participants set 668 new goals and 1,935 new next steps in 2019. Finally, of the goals that were due in 2019, participants achieved 70% of them, including 86% of the next steps required to accomplish those goals.
To both our donors and participants, I sound a grand note of gratitude and congrats for your work and commitment in 2019 . . . and for 2020, please keep on steppin’!
