You won’t want to miss Samaritan Ministry’s Gala on Saturday, November 9, at The Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Georgetown!
Starting at 6pm, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces whom you may recognize as volunteer caseworkers, Front Office Coordinators, or resume writers. Once you get your bidder number and program, you can head to the “Selfie Station”, just for fun! Board member Jack Barker will invite you to join the symbolic “100 Yard Dash” which qualifies you for a $200 restaurant gift card.
Optional adventure: As you arrive, you’ll be given a SMGW Passport, with five blank pages to fill in with “stamps” from staff and volunteers who are part of each of the five offices. Your job is to identify who those people are and get them to stamp your passport. Our new Development Director, Jamie Odle, will stamp the last page of your passport once you find her and introduce yourself.
To the elegant sound of the New Jazz Ensemble, you can visit 20+ bountiful baskets, donated by member churches, while enjoying fine wine and sparkling drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres.
A program including a live auction and the honoring of an outstanding participant, volunteer and member church, will include an abundant buffet, prepared by Mindy’s Catering, Samaritan Ministry’s favorite caterer.
Details:
- Table sponsorships are still available for $2,000 for a table of eight, and include mention in the program
- Partner sponsors at $500 include two tickets and mention in the program
- Individual tickets are $125 until November 8, and then $150 if purchased at the door
