Clothing Donation Bin Placed at St. Andrew's Episcopal School

On Tuesday, September 18, MetroAid workers placed Samaritan Ministry's second clothing donation bin at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, MD.  The bin is located next to the student parking lot and ready to accept donations. This bin is the second of many to be placed all over the DMV area and is part of a newly implemented fundraising project that SMGW has begun with MetroAid, LLC.

Through SMGW's partnership with MetroAid, the organization has agreed to manage the clothing

donations for SMGW, sorting the donations into those for which SMGW participants have immediate need and those for which they do not. The donations that cannot be used by SMGW will be sold, and part of the proceeds will go directly to Samaritan Ministry to support people who are homeless, unemployed or those who are otherwise in need.

If you would like to know more or are interested in housing a bin on your property, please contact Catherine Rodman at crodman [at] samaritanministry.org.

Thanks to everyone who has already contributed items to our new clothing bin! Every donation makes a difference, and everyone at SMGW is so grateful for your continued support.
