This policy has been approved by the Board of Directors of Samaritan Ministry to ensure our donors that their information will not be shared with any third party. - contact information: name, organization/church, complete address, phone number, email address;
- payment information: credit card number and expiration date, and billing information;
- information concerning how you heard about Samaritan Ministry; and
- information you wish to share, such as questions, comments, and suggestions.
How Information is Used
Samaritan Ministry uses your information to understand your needs and provide you with information about Samaritan Ministry and its activities. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on ministry happenings. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing, and are not retained for other purposes. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication.
Public Acknowledgement of Donations
Unless a donor explicitly indicates otherwise, Samaritan Ministry may publicly acknowledge donations in its newsletters, annual reports or other publications usually by indicating the name(s) of the donor(s) and the broad dollar range (or in-kind category) into which their donation falls. No other donor information will be released publicly without the explicit permission of the donor. Properly aggregated, anonymous donor information may be used for promotional and fundraising activities.
No Sharing of Personal Information
Samaritan Ministry will not sell, trade, rent, lease or share your personal information. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of Samaritan Ministry and only to further the mission, activities and purposes of Samaritan Ministry.
Access to Financial Information
All access to donor financial information is strictly limited to professional and volunteer staff who need to process or analyze those data. No such data are given to any person, organization or group who does not need to access those data.
